Trust & Safety
Community Guidelines
Ellery exists for intimate live conversations between creators and small, attentive audiences. These guidelines protect listeners, creators, and the quality of the rooms.
What we encourage
- Honest, generous conversation. Take the conversation somewhere worth listening to.
- Genuine craft. Real preparation, real point of view.
- Treating fellow listeners with care — in chat, in Q&A, in DMs.
What's not allowed
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing.
- Fraud, scams, impersonation, or fake credentials.
- Sexual content involving minors. Non-consensual content of any kind.
- Copyright violation — music, video, or text you don't have rights to.
- Coordinated inauthentic behaviour, vote brigading, or spam.
Reporting
Every show, episode, and creator page has a Report action. Reports go directly to the Ellery trust team and are reviewed individually. We don't run automated takedowns.
Refunds
Tickets follow a tiered refund policy disclosed at checkout. If a creator doesn't show, you're refunded automatically.
Suspension
Creators who violate these guidelines may be suspended. Suspension blocks new sales and any new live activity. Existing reservations stay valid until we cancel and refund them where applicable.
