Trust & Safety
Creator Standards
Publishing on Ellery means accepting these standards. We re-confirm them on every terms-version update.
Rights
You confirm you own or have permission for everything you publish — voice, names, music, guest contributions, references. If a rights holder contacts us, we follow up with you first.
Taxes
You are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes due on your Ellery earnings to your relevant tax authority. Ellery does not file taxes on your behalf. Stripe issues 1099-K / annual statements where required by law.
Payouts
Paid episodes require completing Stripe Connect onboarding. Stripe is the merchant of record for payouts. Ellery operates standard destination charges from day one — no held-funds model.
Recording & distribution
If you publish an episode that's recorded, you grant Ellery permission to host, distribute, and excerpt the recording on Ellery surfaces in line with your show's recording policy. Listener consent is collected on join.
Suspension
Violating the Community Guidelines or these Standards may result in immediate suspension. Suspension blocks new ticket sales and any new live activity (broadcast start, host tokens, host controls, aftershow). Existing reservations stay valid until we cancel and refund them where applicable.
No-show & refunds
If you don't show up to your own episode, we automatically refund every listener. Repeated no-shows escalate to review and possible suspension.
